Did you know… Downtown Roanoke Inc is a nonprofit organization that supports downtown restaurants, events, and retailers? We also manage the Historic City Market, beautification projects, and house the Downtown Roanoke Ambassador Program. Consider supporting Downtown Roanoke Inc during Give Roanoke Day, coming up on April 22nd. Our work is powered by the generosity of donors!

Looking further into the spring, we have some big events coming into downtown Roanoke. The Wailers at The Exchange, Down By Downtown, Foot Leveler’s Blue Ridge Marathon, and the Community School’s 46th Strawberry Festival. We hope you are ready for a good time!

Delta Dental’s Party in Elmwood Kicks Off May 28th!

We’re excited to welcome everyone downtown for the classic beach‑music nights you know and love, featuring fan favorites like The Embers featuring Craig Woolard, Too Much Sylvia, Band of Oz, The Kings, and more.

This year, we’re also adding something new: Party in Elmwood – The Remix. On select evenings, you’ll see artists such as REO/Survivor & Co, Maggie Baugh, and Y2K Kids take the stage, bringing a fresh mix of sounds and a fun, family‑friendly energy to the series.

With both our traditional beach‑music nights and the new Remix Nights, there’s truly something for everyone. We can’t wait to spend another summer of live music together in Elmwood Park!

Last week our Downtown Roanoke Ambassadors hid 8 giant Easter eggs around the downtown district, full of treats, gifts cards & passes to the Roanoke Pinball Museum and Roanoke STARCADE. Congrats to our winners!
