Summer is in full swing in Downtown Roanoke, and there’s plenty to look forward to! Join us in Market Square on June 20th for a special Downtown Roanoke Ambassador pop-up event, “Donuts and Coffee with Dad.” Starting at 10:30 AM, dads are invited to enjoy free coffee and donut holes while supplies last. It’s a great way to kick off the day, celebrate Dad, and connect with our vibrant downtown community.

Historic Roanoke City Market

Make time to visit the Historic Roanoke City Market on Friday & Saturday, where fresh finds and local flavor come together year-round. Stop by and say hello to Market Clerk Astella, then explore a variety of vendors offering fresh, seasonal produce, locally baked goods, farm-fresh meats and eggs. You’ll also find talented artisans, colorful flowers, and unique handmade items!

Our next Delta Dental Party in Elmwood night takes place tomorrow, June 18th, featuring Too Much Sylvia! Gates open at 5:00 pm, and the music kicks off at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $10 cash only, and kids 12 and under are free. Enjoy beer, canned cocktails, seltzers and sangria from Michelob Ultra/PA Short Distributors, lemonade from Leme Lemonade, and dinner from Copper Dog & Co.

This team has been hard at work keeping our downtown clean, welcoming, and vibrant each day- you’ll often spot the team in their bright blue shirts throughout the district. From watering flowers and pressure washing streets and buildings to assisting local business owners, their efforts help enhance the overall downtown experience. They also play an important role in supporting and offering services to our unsheltered neighbors, serving as a friendly and helpful presence in the community. We are so grateful to have them on our team!
